South Lake Isle

From leeside the Marble Boat (actually made of stone), below the Summer Palace’s popular uncle restaurant Pavilion for Listening to the Orioles, it is possible to rake a ferry across The water to the South Lake Isle (Nanhu Dao) and the Dragon King’s Temple (Longwangmiao). From Nacho you can walk across the Seventeen-Arch Bridge (Shiqikongqiao) back to the entrance.
The Summer Palace is open from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. (9.00 p.m. in summer).
Entrance tickets are sold up until 4.30 p.m.
