Tour Itinerary:
We will drive to Jinshanling Great wall, built from 1368 to 1389 in the Ming Dynasty, 150 kilometers away from Beijing, which normally takes about 3 1/2 hours to get to, climb up on the wall, grab a great view, then hiking towards Simatai Great Wall, the hike itself would be a scenic and quiet hike, you will not meet any tourist, and most of time, you will stay on the un-restored and authentic Great wall, passing numerous watching towers, which all have different structures and appearances.

To look out from one of the guard towers out at the barren mountains and the Wall snaking off into the distance is a view not to be forgotten. Standing on the Wall, you can get a good feel for what the Wall was all about. Leave Beijing early in the morning, we will get to the site in about 3.5 hours; start our hiking, on one of the most beautiful sections of the Great Wall.

We can view as many as 150 watchtowers, battlements, terraces and turrets of the wall. There are sections of renovated and original wall with fantastic viewpoints. Have a picnic on the wall. The total length is about eleven kilometers (6.8 miles), which takes about 4 hours, at last we will walk out Simatai Great wall, pick up by bus, and drive back to Beijing.
