Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing & Summer Palace
Airport pick up by well trained English speaking Beijing private tour guide with car/van as stated in booking details. After check in hotel and rest for some while, the tour begins at Summer Palace. Built as a retreat from Beijing’s intense summer heat, the Summer Palace or Yiheyuan in Chinese is a sprawling imperial complex set in a large park around the vast Kunming Lake. After the tour, you will be transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall, Ming Tombs & Beijing Olympic Heritages
Hotel pickup in the morning and then take approximately 1 and a half hour drive to reach Mutianyu Great Wall which located about 53 miles northeast of Beijing. Originally built in the sixth century, Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the most popular sites for today’s tourists. Mutianyu is one of the wall’s most overdeveloped and crowded sections. Nevertheless, once you climb up the wall and move away from the crowds, it offers picture-postcard views of the Great Wall and the surrounding countryside. Upon arrival, you may choose either to climb up the Great Wall yourself or to reach the peak on an easy way via the assistance of cable car. Then continue the tour to Ming Tombs (Changling or Dingling) and its Sacred Way. On the way back to your hotel, you may stop to take an exterior view of Beijing Olympic Heritages including Bird’s Nest, Water Cube and also the Beijing Olympic Village.

Day 3: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Temple of Heaven
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8am and heading towards Tiananmen Square, the largest square in China as well as the important venue where liberation of China was officially declared. An approximately 30 minute’s stroll can be made at Tiananmen Square. From Tiananmen Square, walk straight to the north and you will pass through Tiananmen Tower and later reach Wumen (Meridian Gate) of Forbidden City. After lunch, you will visit Temple of Heaven, which used to be the venue for ancient emperors to pray for peace and harvest. Finally, you will be transfer to Beijing Capital International Airport.
The default schedule for this tour is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Anyway, if you prefer to visit Badaling Great Wall or Juyongguan Great Wall, do inform us upon booking is made. We may substitute it with similar rate for you.
