Women’s synchronized swimming was first originated in 1,920s in European countries like the UK and Germany, originally just a performance during intermission of swimming competition. Synchronized swimming, reputed as “water ballet”, is a combined arrangement of swimming, exquisite technique, dancing and music. It developed into a formal Olympic event in the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games. Synchronized swimming can begin on land, but must end in the water. In Olympics, the water of synchronized swimming must be crystal clear.
Sychronized swimming is a beautiful and elegant sport. Audience should abide by relevant rulers, dress and behave propertly according to characteristics of the event.
