Adjacent to Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Ying Tung Natatorium, one of the venues built for the 11th Beijing Asian Games, has been renovated for the Beijing Olympic Games, it currently covers a construction area of 45,000 square meters with 4,852 seats, comprising standard swimming pool, diving pool, warm-up pool, relaxation pool and affiliated buildings. Ying Tung Natatorium was hosted to water polo preliminaries and swimming of modern pentathlon during the Beijing Olympics.
