Beijing National Convention Center is made up of International Broadcast Center (IBC), Main Press Center (MPC) and Fencing Hall. The IBC occupies a construction area of 140,000 square meters, making it the largest in Olympic history. During the Beijing Olympic Games, about 16,000 journalists from all around the world will work at the IBC. The MPC, a work area for reporters and press-photographers, has a total of 1,000 journalist working seats and auxiliary facilities. There are two five-star hotels and a McDonald’s near the center for journalists to take a rest.
