Lu Xun Museum is located in Fuchengmennei Dajie commemorates one of China’s most outstanding writers of the 20th century, Lu Xun (1881-1936), who is also noted for his considerable contribution to the liberal movement in China in the 1920s. The museum, which abuts Lu Sun’s former Beijing residence, displays manuscripts, letters, and pages from his personal diary. Some 13,000 books from his library arc also kept in the museum, as well as items of clothing and other memorabilia.

Lu Xun Museum is open from 8.30 a.m.-ll.00 a.m. and from 1.30 p.m – 4.00 p.m., but is closed on Mondays.
